Happy Halloween!

Jacob's first Halloween! Our good friend Gaby gave us this adorable monkey costume. It is very fitting for Jacob's personality. I must say, he has remained in character even after the costume came off. We did not go to many places. We visited auntie Pam and had a delicious cracker then drove around our neighborhood in our new hotrod. I am sure he will appreciate it more next year. As daddy said - this was more for mommy.

Bubbles... Tiny Bubbles...

I might have gone a bit overboard with the bubbles tonight, so Jacob decided to get rid of some... by eating them! Hope they mix well with formula! Hope you enjoy the slide below.

Jacob Turns 10 Months Old

My baby boy is 10 months old today!
He amazes me every day. It is so funny what they are learning when you don't even know it. I dance a silly dance for him when he plays the banjo on his toy table, so he now dances when he plays the banjo. We were concerned when he recently developed a cough... Wait a minute... I coughed, then you hear a little aha aha - he was copying us (little turkey).
He is walking really well now and climbing EVERYTHING! He pushes toys up to the furniture he can not reach on his own and uses them as step stools.
He says mom mom and d-duh. He will give you d-duh on command, but mom mom only when he wants to.
He will give you a kiss if you ask and knows how to give hugs now. He makes the mmmmmwwwaa noise when he gives kisses now.
He will search his toy boxes, throw out every toy and find a book to bring me. He hands it to me to read to him, but he wants to be in charge of the page turning.
He loves cheerios and puffs, but I can not get the little stinker to eat chunks of food. We have tried sweet potatoes, carrots, apples, and kiwi - however - we did go to Julian to day and bad mommy slipped him some apples from her apple pie which he thoroughly enjoyed.
I can't wait to see what he will learn next month.
Hope you enjoy the slide below of our trip to one of our community parks for his 10-month "birthday". (if you see a black box, just hit the "x" and the slide will show up)

We all checked in to the Nut Farm!

Bate's Nut Farm!
What a great place for a family. We had a blast. We rode there with our friend Kathleen and her friend and met Amber and her family there. Jacob rode in his big-boy wagon for the first time and had so much fun crawling on, kissing and trying to take a bite out of the pumpkins. I was most excited to see funnel cakes and Billy an Kat had the most amazing grilled corn. I think we will definitely make this a family tradition. I can't wait to go back.
The family.

Jacob in his big-boy wagon.

Deeeeelish!

Mom, is that you?

Mommy's pumpkin on a pumpkin.

Yay - Pumpkins!

We'll take this one!

Kathleen tried real hard to get a good shot of us, but Jacob was not having it.

Mmmmmmmwa! Love ya punkin!

You taste good too.
